When we started organizing the Oak Park Washington program for D97 8th Graders without District support, our primary goal was on equity. To that end, we want to ensure that no student who wants to go is unable to attend due to financial need. Oak Park, which is often thought of as an affluent community, has plenty of families who need support. 

To make this trip happen for every student, we are fundraising, because we are committed to investing in our community and making it stronger.
