About Us

Lisa Peloquin is a professional education consultant and former teacher who has a junior at OPRF and an 8th grader at Brooks. Lisa manages communication, presentation materials, and community outreach.

Elise Coleman is a professional artist and design director who learned the skills of community organizing with Organizing For Action. Elise runs the website and digital comms. She has a sophomore at OPRF, an 8th grader at Brooks, and a 5th grader at Lincoln.

Heather Vickery is a Transformational Life Coach and certified NLP practitioner with four daughters including a junior at OPRF and her youngest is an 8th grader at Julian. Her oldest three daughters treasured their Washington D.C. experience which is why she committed to continuing the trip for others. Heather helps editing, brainstorming, and organizing fundraising efforts..

Additionally, we've had support from lots of parent and student volunteers and input from D97 and school staff about how to make the trip a success. If you would like to join the effort, let us know!
